Philippine Rugby Football Union - Philipppines vs. Hong Kong 5.04.13

Covered the first match of the Philippine Volcanoes in the Asians 5 Nations (A5N) Top 5 Division hosting one of the top teams in Asia. The Volcanoes put up a good fight drawing first blood but the size and the speed of the HK team was just a bit much for the local boys. Hong Kong won the match 59-20.

Tumblr only lets me show 10 images so if you’d like to see more from the match, here’s the gallery.

One of the must see spots here in Barcelona is the La Pedrera or The Quarry, named in reference to the gray finish of the facade. It’s official name is Casa Mila. This is one of the masterpieces of Antoni Gaudi. This was originally built as an apartment and office space in the early 1900s, it is now a museum and if you’re so inclined, fee is 16euros.
At night it is lit up by tungsten lights so you get a very nice warm light which contrasts against the cool sky at dusk. A tripod is must if you want to photograph this at night.

Casa Batllo
Another Gaudi master piece along Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona, Spain. This structure is also locally known as Casa Delos Osos or house of bones for it’s skeletal quality. It’s quite hard to believe that this was originally designed as a home for a family back in the early 1900s.
